Grain does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Data we collect
Grain collects no personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any form of identification.
All habit data — including habit names, tap records, and streaks — is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and is never transmitted to any server.
Data storage
- All data is stored locally on your device only
- No cloud sync or remote backup in v1
- Deleting the app removes all associated data
- We have no access to any data on your device
No account, no sync
Grain does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no login, and no remote sync. Nothing about how you use Grain leaves your device.
Analytics
Grain does not use any analytics, telemetry, or tracking SDKs. We do not measure how often you open the app or which habits you tap.
Third-party services
Grain does not integrate with any third-party services.
Your rights
You own your data. Because everything is stored locally, you have full control: export it manually, edit it, or remove it at any time. Uninstalling Grain deletes all of your data permanently.
Children's privacy
Grain does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, this app is safe for all ages.
Changes to this policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
